It’s the first of June, so the questions about Father’s Day 2014 have begun! When is Father’s Day? How and when was Father’s day created?<br />

She was raised by an only father, as her mother passed during childbirth. Mrs. Tood wanted Father’s Day to be celebrated on June 5 which was the date of her father’s birthday.<br />

Sharing her idea with the YMCA and a group of ministers, they loved the idea; but needed more time to prepare a proper sermon on the father figure.<br />
<br />
The first Father’s Day was celebrated on June 19, 1910.<br />
<br />
Father’s Day did not become a nationally recognized holiday until President Richard Nixon signed a law in 1972 declaring Father’s Day as the third Sunday in June annually.<br />

The third Sunday in the month of June is Father's Day. Here are the dates for the next five Father's Days:<br />

Lord, please bless our fathers,<br />
these men who mean so much to us,<br />
who are greatly responsible<br />
for who we are and who we are becoming.<br />
Bless them for having the courage<br />
to do what's necessary to keep us out of trouble,<br />
for making us do the right thing,<br />
for helping us build our character,<br />
even when it makes us angry;<br />
and bless them for pushing us to do our best,<br />
even when they just want to love us.<br />
Bless our fathers for being our protectors,<br />
for leading us through stormy times to safety,<br />
for making us believe that everything will be all right<br />
and for making it so.<br />
Bless our fathers for quietly making a living<br />
to provide for those they love most,<br />
for giving us food, clothing, shelter<br />
and other necessary and not so necessary material things,<br />
for unselfishly investing time and money in us<br />
that they could have spent on themselves.<br />
Bless our fathers, Lord,<br />
for saving some energy for fun,<br />
for leading us on adventures<br />
to explore the outer reaches of ourselves,<br />
for making us laugh,<br />
for being our playmates and our friends.<br />
Bless them for being our secure foundation, our rock,<br />
for holding on tight to us...until it's time to let us go.<br />
Lord, bless these men we look up to,<br />
our role models, our heroes,<br />
our fathers.<br />

The 26-year-old's near naked look already had the internet abuzz but then the funny people behind hit cartoon Family Guy waded in and, in doing so, proved Rihanna certainly has a sense of humour.<br />

The Pour It Up songstress broke her silence about the now iconic and controversial gown on Tuesday after coming across the image of the portly cartoon dressed in couture look.<br />
<br />
The picture has been shared thousands of times for good reason, with the Family Guy cartoonists going to a lot of work to make the rather chunky Mid-Western Peter's ensemble look expectantly like Rihanna's - complete with head scarf, gloves, strategically placed pink fur and nude coloured underwear.<br />
<br />
The star - who received the Fashion Icon award at the CFDA's - also acknowledged her inspiration - the late actress, singer and dancer Josephine Baker.<br />
Rihanna posted a picture on her Twitter comparing the pair and wished the late icon a happy birthday.<br />
<br />
The Diamonds singer captioned the image: 'Happy birthday to the late Josephine Baker! You have and will continue to inspire us women for decades to come!'<br />
